1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of elyo.dk and any purchase made through our store. By placing an order with Elyo, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Elyo is owned and operated by Elyo, CVR: 46527518, based in Denmark.
2. Products
All Elyo candles are hand-poured in small batches. Product descriptions, images, and scent notes on our website are as accurate as possible. Slight variations in colour or appearance may occur due to the handmade nature of our products — this is not a defect.
We reserve the right to discontinue or modify products at any time without notice.
3. Pricing
All prices are listed in Danish Krone (DKK) and include Danish VAT (25%) where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay — no hidden fees.
4. Orders
By completing a purchase you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that all information provided is accurate. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion — for example in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
5. Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, MobilePay, and Klarna. All transactions are processed securely. Elyo does not store your payment details.
6. Shipping
We ship within Denmark only. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery typically takes 2–3 business days from dispatch. Full details are available in our Shipping Policy.
7. Returns and Refunds
We accept returns of unused, unopened products within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in their original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or full refund promptly.
Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days to the original payment method.

8. Right of Withdrawal — Danish Consumer Law
As a consumer in Denmark you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, in accordance with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven).
To exercise this right, contact us at sales@elyo.com before the 14-day period expires. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item. The product must be returned unused and in its original packaging.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been opened, used, or damaged after delivery.
9. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with your order or our service, please contact us at hello@elyo.com. We will always do our best to find a fair solution.
If we cannot resolve the issue, you may file a complaint with the Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet) at forbrug.dk or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on elyo.dk — including text, photography, design, and branding — is the property of Elyo and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
Elyo is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our products beyond what is required by Danish law. Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Danish/EU GDPR regulations. We never sell your data to third parties.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Danish courts.
